Pay With Square: A Terrific Experience With Brooklyn Taco

On Saturday, we headed down to the Brooklyn Taco Co. at the Essex Street Market here in New York. There were a few reasons for this:

  • We like that area
  • We miss good mexican food
  • They accept Square

The first two points probably don’t need a lot of explanation. Exploring this city is great, and being down in the Lower East Side area is always exciting. It’s a mix of having fun and being scared within each block.

Business Cards Are Annoying

I think about business cards. A lot.

I’ve designed them. I’ve given them out. They’ve been given to me. I’ve entered them into my address book. I’ve thrown them away.

Each time I design / hand out / receive a business card, I think: What a necessary evil. I know they have their place, but can we have another option to giving out / receiving business cards?

How The Gym Is Like Cable TV

I’m not a gym guy.

Not to say I don’t like to exercise. I do. But I’d rather get my exercise outdoors – walking through the city, jogging through the park, or playing a game or two of pickup soccer.

I sit at a computer in an office for way-too-many hours a day – why would I want my exercise to be indoors as well?

Alas, circumstances have forced me to join a gym.
