Is Doing Nothing Your Best Option?

Over the past weekend, I was reading about Liverpool’s upcoming match against Birmingham City. The big concern is a new manager deploying a new playing style while new players are coming in and others are being sold and loaned out.

The chaos leading up to the transfer deadline (31-Aug) made for an unsettling fan base and a disjointed start to the season. Adding in the results from the year before and it doesn’t make for a pretty picture.

Are You Looking For The Competition That Isn’t There?

If not, you should be. The problem isn’t with the all the competing businesses, its with the folks who do two things:

  • Decide to do it themselves
  • Decide to do nothing

Either of these choices can be awful for us marketers, and really terrible for the customer.
