We’re doing our first organized run in New York today. The run, Central Park Conservancy Run for Central Park, will be fun, but quite a challenge given the expected high temperatures and increasing humidity.
I did a few runs while in San Francisco – it’s a great way to see parts of a city from a different perspective. Roads are closed to traffic, and you overhear stories from other participants about past runs.
I picked up our numbers and shirts on Thursday evening. Very well organized, especially for a first timer. I love the tags you loop through your shoes to track your times.
We’re excited, and hoping for a wayward sprinkler here and there along the route.
