		<description>From what I recall, and this was quite awhile ago, you are right: the curriculum to achieve CFA Charter status is the same across the world, which makes the CFA a globally recognizable charter.  A nice thing to have.

Of course, applying this to MBA programs would probably devalue the different business schools and their philosophies (and the monies they charge!).  

The core MBA classes seems like the right path - even sharing the revenues across the board to keep the core curriculum afloat might make sense.

Great article - glad to see it&#039;s getting so much coverage.  I&#039;ll be taking the Oath and passing it to my colleagues and fellow alums.</description>
